Who is it for?

To be in this program, a woman must:

  • Have doctor report that says she has a certain type of breast or cervical cancer or pre-cancer.
  • Be age 18 to 64.
  • Not be able to get another type of Medicaid.
  • Not have health insurance.
  • Be a Texas resident.
  • Be a U.S. citizen or legal immigrant with a Medicaid acceptable immigration status.
  • Meet the financial eligibility criteria for the Breast and Cervical Cancer Services program.
